After roaming the magical halls of our museum, you may want to sit down and relax for a bit. So we have set up a comfortable reading room where you can take a little break.
Get immersed in the world of folklore and legend by reading some of the most famous fairy tales from Norway and the rest of the world. We have a small but well-curated library of books in Norwegian, English, and other languages that you can borrow from during your visit as well as some well-preserved old editions kept on display.
For an extra cozy experience, grab a coffee, hot chocolate, or tea at the coffee corner right outside the reading room. You can enjoy your hot beverage while reading, playing the Troll Maze game with your friends, or just gazing out the window at the Arctic Cathedral right across the ocean.
